I used to have pair of hifonics comp subs, (back in 1998) they would bow the trunk in my 1984 cutlass supreme, also bow out the back window. But dunno about there new products you know how speaker companies change owner ship thus quality..

get a real set of components and don't worry about hifonics. you get some dls for $150 shipped brand new.

I used to own a set of the Hifonics Zeus Components. They were pretty good actually, Sound quality was very good, the midbass was smooth, and the tweeter was good as well. I was pretty impressed. I just heard a set of DLS's and they were pretty on par with those SQ-wise.
