if i were you i would grab the Pioneer DEH-P8600MP, i know the price is above the rest but i had one in my old car and liked everything about it. nice controls and features and to top it all off it looks cool!

x2. everything you can want in a headunit and then some. you can really fine tune your music.

I'd have to say Pioneer DEH-P8600MP, I have seen one in action before and they are pretty sweet... I have heard a lot of good things about them across the forums also! My vote is for the 8600MP

just my 2cents :)

i don't really see the difference in the two head units though. I am still gonna get the 8600 rather than the 860. Might as well save money :)

Those two pioneer units are nice. I just bought an eclipse cd5444 and i really like it so far. Eclipse makes nice HU's...they are worth a look.

What about the Clarion DXZ645MP or Alpine CDA-7998/CDA-9835? I've been debating which HU I should get for my new car, but there's so **** many...

I have the Clarion DXZ845. I am happy with it, it sounds great. Has a ton of features(very user friendly). Also it has the Music Catcher capabilities (it can store up to 4 hours of music directly to your cd player) this is usefull for those cds where there is 1 or 2 good songs on them. That way you can store those two tracks to your deck and never have to take the cd out again. If you want a deck that looks perty it changes 80 (? not sure how many different colors)dif colors or you can have it scroll through all of em. It also plays MP3s.

I have this head unit. It works great... I've never had a problem with it!

I may be looking to sell it too ;-)
