Anyone who has experience with the Image Dynamics Cxs52

Hello,
I'm wondering if running the Image Dynamics Chameleon 5.25 components at 150watts x2 instead of their rated 100watt rms power would be a bad thing(ie distortion, or some "magic smoke"). I know some components can take more than their rated rms power and handle some abuse, but i am not sure about ID as i have never used them before.

Also, would these be able to keep up with an 18" RE SX (5.5 cubes 33 hz with an Orion 1200 powering it) or should i be looking at another set of components?? (i will not be using rear fill, and the car is a 01 grand prix). thanks for all the help

someone i know has them in his scion xb and they get disgusting loud, like deafening loud sounds good too

i wouldnt beat the hell out of them....ID drivers used to have a tendency to have coil problems. how the recent stuff is well i dont know. i have custom mids from them and they are perfectly fine but i havent used them too much yet.
