I have about $100.00 to spend and I'm looking for 6x9's. I want good sound quality. My head unit is a pioneer with 45 watts coming out of it. Any good recommendations?

Infinity, CDT, there are more, use the seach, 6 x 9s aren't the great for SQ anyway, comps are better

if your looking for sq--the best bet is to geet an amp to power whatever you chose--headunit power is not very clean.

You didn't mention what car you have. That's important since the mounting depth available will also have to be taken into consideration when choosing your speakers.

That being said, there aren't a lot of "better" 6x9 speakers at the $100 point.
These Infinity's are nice but sorta deep mounting depth:

And while I agree that components and amp are the way to go for the best SQ, not all of us have money burning a hole in our pockets. We do the best we can with what we have.

Pioneer Rev's, by far the best sounding 100 dollar coax i've heard to date.
