What the heck is "smooth" sounding tweeters and "metallic" sounding

i dont quite really understand these terms. I looked around but i cant find any examples that i under stand... :smash:

anyways, can anyone in laymans terms explain these to me?

Smooth sound tweets are typically a soft tweet, where harsh are the metal type.

or a symbol being tapped sounds like 4 symols being tapped at the same time the exact same way then boosted for a brighter sound....if you have a good eq+install harsh tweets can sound really good
