u see the pic where the speaker is flipped over, well why r there 4 hookups on there and why does one of them have 2 wires comin off it?

also when i am installing the speakers i dont want to have to run all new speaker wire, but i still want to use the crossover that it comes with, so can i hook up the speaker to the crossover and then splice the factory wire into the wire that is coming out of the crossover?

four leads=2 for mids 2 for tweets---and those two wires are for the tweets(the wire runs throught a hole in the magnet) and yes u can

so i would have to unhook my tweeter and run those wire to the type r, too

you just have to run one positive and one negative to the crossover--then from crossover to mids and highs.

so does there coaxial crossovers look just like their component crossovers?

probably real close--their coax is pretty much a set of components that are combined into one unit instead of having a positionable tweeter.

so i will have 4 wires running to the crossover and then 2 wires goin out?

you will have 2 wires running from head unit to crossover and 4 wires running to coax one positive and one negative to the mid and one + and one - to the tweet.
