Heres my box for my XXX

Here we go, the box is sealed, dont remember the dimensions, was built to REs dimensions, its a 12" XXX. The box is finished in black laminate. Heres some pics:

Heres the front of the box w/o the sub inside. box looks really weird and edges dont look striahgt, its the pic, i dunno..theres an overhang on the top to mount a neon light:

Heres a pic of one of the sides, as you see theres still some liquid nails oozing out that I need to clean off:

still some sawdust and stuff in the little holes, hopefully the sub will push enough air to move that out :)


well thats it, ill get a pic with it in my trunk when i get it all hooked up. Was my brother and I's first time building a box, i think it turned out pretty well. There was screws every inch, it was liquid nails, and then siliconed, the terminal cups were siliconed as well. Thanks for looking :)

hehe, predrilling it saved you :) one screw every 5 inches is plenty, cheaper, just as effective, and like you said, it gets annoying drilling 987398 holes.

its just formica, like countertop laminate, i believe the finish is called Black sparkle

ok, i know people will be tempted to flame, but **** it

predrilling a hole, is that just putting a screw on an electric drill and sticking it in there to make the grooves, so when you actually screw the box together you can do it manually???
i have no handy work experience (at least none in which i cared wether or not i ****ed up what i was making), and plan to make a box soon.

nah...you pre-drill with a drill bit so you dont split the wood when you put the screw in
