is there a reason for it? can you actually benefit from this?

ideally, helps with port linearity.

so is it not really worth the hassle for a daily driver?

Weve gained ~1 db from putting 45s in all the corners of our boxes for competition, but for a daily driver its not really needed.

we also lost 1.3 db from putting one piece in the wrong spot, took it out and we gained it back.

it is more a game of experimenting...like..if u round the corners of the port u might gain .2 dbs..and if u add some stuff to the box u might lose 5dbs and if u make the back of the box concaved then u gain 3db..i mean it is just a game and u ahve to find it..

you get 3db from a concave back? i do know you get 3db if you paint the port black.
