Hello there ! I searched up and down and i couldn't find precise info about calculating a port with a bend in it (add/substract 50%? dunno)... my case a port with a 67degrees elbow ...

So how do i get the right calculations?

Thanks!

Thanks man ! although i don't quite get it (my port is a round one) .. but i'll try to understand ! (for an elbow don't you just need to add/substract 50% of it's length?)

and BTW ,i'm not like that. I DID search as hard as i could , i have searched for posts like "port bend" , "port+elbow" and so on.

lol dont worry. i was just messing with ya. yea the one in my tutorial is for a slot port. if your doing the round port thing i think you dont bend them at all, you just add another port in the box. like for example your box is 10 inches deep and you need a port 10 inches long so im GUESSING you do 2 5" ports...dont quote me on this, i only do slot ports lol

try the slot port method. you can make a port with more port area and less port noise.

slot port rules! the only thing you get a is a little bit of fluttering.

You can bend round ports or add elbows and I was told that you measure down the center of the enitre port to get your correct length. Also if you add another port with the same diam. you have to double the length. etc.

have you tried using a router to round the edges of your port? try it if you havent.
