i'm looking to purhase a 6.5" cdt hd-62 set from iceteebone. however, his set has the 456 crossover instead of the newer 560 crossover. what's the main difference betweent the two? does the newer corssover provide a noticeable improvement in sq and performance? thanks!
btw, i've already read the comparison on the cdt website, just want additional opinons. thanks!

The 560's are $60 well worth spending. I upgraded to the 560's and I'm just using the CL mids, not nearly as good as the HD's. There was a noticeable improvement all around. Better midbass, imaging, power handling. I went from hearing my mids distort from 100 rms to taking 160 rms without distortion. The 560's are simply a better x-over. Even better connections.
One note: It does NOT have tweeter adjustments like the 456 x-over. :( But CDT told me that you can use the "image tweeter" output for a -3db attenuation. It plays the same frequencies as the main tweeter.

That is a GREAT thing to know, thanks! :)

thanks for the advice, i went ahead and got the 560's direct from cdt. i've decided to try them out with my cl-6 midbass then upgrade to a hd-6 midbass in the future.
