I haven't heard the Rainbows, but I had BA Pros and they got extremely loud and sounded extremely good. Handle insane amounts of power aswell

WARNING - The CS 265PRO UP is a 6.5" Midbass UPGRADE. It comes simply with 2 6.5" woofers and 2 crossovers, so NO tweeter.

The Adire $350 set and probably the BA set are full component sets.

The Rainbow Professional line is very good though. I plan to purchase the 3-way set w/kickbass upgrade. Its up to your ears at that point to what it compares to, but its VERY good quality.

Carl B- I just received my Rainbow Pro Up 3way crossover/Kick Bass mid upgrade- I'll be running 3way with the Kick Bass 6.5" dedicated mid, Arc ACS(also made by Rainbow) 6.5" mid for dedicated midrange and the ACS tweet(which is a CAL 25 Silk VOF tweet-same as Pro line)

The two way set itself sounds phenomenal- I got a good deal of the upgrade so this 3way set is my lil' experiment- Rainbow components are among the finest in the world

BTW- no place online is authorized that I know of besides Speed & Sound and I'd even question that today

Not so sure anymore- they were before partnered with Arc, they continued online sales on their current stock and now that Alumapro is their distributor out of Chicago, I'm leaning towards the idea that they are not- I noticed they do NOT carry any NEW Rainbow stuf(Dream/Sound SLX, Power line, Profi Vanadium)leading me to that conclusion-they may just be selling what they have left, therefore can claim they are

squeak what would be a good amp for the boston pros. would like it to be under 130 unless theres a big sound difference in a higher priced one.

I think I would go with the Focal 165K2P's over the Rainbows. But I like it HARSh!

Something with atleast 200w x 2 @ 4ohm. Seriously, they like power. I had 400w x 2 @ 4 ohm on mine......but then again, I'm slightly insane

In your price range, you'll probably have to look into amps like Profile and US Acoustics

think ill just get the adires because there not so power hungry and i can get a soundstream amp to power them so it will be less money in the long run
