Well, ive search high and low through this forum and found some good comp brands, but i need opinions on the ones i have chosen...

1. Focal 165 H Polyflex $173.99

2. Focal 165A Access $169.00

3. Rainbow SLX 265.02 $144.95

4. Diamond Audio MM61 Comp $224.99

5. Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 $243.55

I was hoping not to spend over 200 dollars, but if there is a big difference in quality, then i guess i must...

I was just wondering what the people in this ever so helpful forums opinions/comparisons are on these comp sets. I am open to other options under the same budget of course!! (I dont really want MB Quarts)

Have you listened to any of them? I know myself I dislike Focals lower lines, and greatly dislike the Perfects. What type of music will you be listening to? Where will they be installed?

I have a set of Boston sl60 that can be had on Ebay for about $200. They are perfect for my liking, although they don't put out any bass so a sub is absolutely necessary for them to sound good. They are very neutral sounding with good emphasis on midrange where many speakers lack detail. The treble is also not too bright like many components that have "colored" and unnatural sound.
