I have the pioneer 8600 and I really want a dvd player. I saw that DJ Fade is selling his on ebay for 500. First how good is this unit and is it worth the money. I hear Eclipse is a worthy name in dvd audio/video. Also will it play WMA's or just MP3's?

I am sticking with Pioneer and going to get the Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD. I can get it on Ebay for like 800 to 900. I see in the descriptions that the dvd is for use when car is stationary. Is there a way you can disable that?

IMO I would stick with Eclipse. They look better and are much much better quality. I've got an AV3423 which is a 7" touchscreen which plays everything the av8132 does only it is the newer model (8132 aren't made anymore) and it's a half inch bigger in the screen, and it plays DVD video as well as DVD audio.
I'm looking to get around $1,000 for it, if you're interested send me an email and we can work something out. email@example.com

The 8132 was a very nice unit. Actually their top of the line for that series and a nice price at $500. The replacement for it is the AV8533..touchscreen,DD,PiP,etc..
Since your local to me (NJ) shoot me a PM if you decide against that one, and I may be able to help with one of the newer ones...
