laptop as main unit??

hey,

anyone ever use their laptop as their head unit? i know the sound won't be as good as a quality head unit... but i would like to know how to do it. i searched google for this set up and couldn't find much. any help would be appreciated.

Yulp i plug mine in and run the signal gen off winisd when i wanna burp..... just get a 1/8 to dual rca adapter from radioshack should be about 4 bucks then run your rcas to you amp or use splitters and run them to a few amps and your good to go.......u gotta have the remote wore on too don't forget.
