You might lose a few tenths with that bracing...but if SPL isn't your goal...then it doesn't matter :)

SWEEEEEET!!
I will be building a box soon for 2 15"xxxs/15" MTs. Will be building it towards the MTs.
Good job though.
? though, how do you plan on holding the sub in place?
I have been using tnuts so far and HATE them. Need a better way.

I think Im going to run by ace hardware and pick up some hurricane fasteners? I think that's what they're called. Might be the same thing as t-nuts.
I dont trust screws to hold this sub in place..

being that the box is ported, there wouldn't be much pressure on the speaker. screws should hold it, right?

I dont trust screws to hold the weight of the speaker, let alone with it pounding away...

that one brace that may affect spl by about 1/10th is my fault but the box looks great

If the XXX affects tnuts even though it's ported, i believe screws will too. Might be harder but a course thread screw should do.
But if u plan on replacing subs/switching in n out subs, screws won't make it, the mount holes will start to become holes.
I just wish the mount holes on the basket were bigger, then could use the bigger heavier duty tnuts.
drill-bits and drills help with that problem.
looks like a solid piece tho. im wanting to see how big it actaully is in the car tho.
great job.
