so if anyone has opinions on midbass speakers plot those down...i have a feeling that would be the most cost conservative way to do it..tryin to keep under 150 for all....NO CDT, DONT ASK ME WHY JUST PLEASE DONT MENTION IT..EVERY OTHER THREAD I READ IS CDT CDT CDT CDT

THANKS

Those kickers arent that good. I heard them, and to my ears didnt sound good. My friend kenny has those MB's and he loves them. I have yet to hear them, but he loves them.

if i were to buy just midrange drivers could i just hook it up regularly..+ -...and since my jl tweets have a built in x over i could just run those with some type of midrange right?the only reason i ask is cause i allready have a hole in my door for the jl's..

well i have limited space in my doors and i dont even no if a 6 1/2 would fit..thats what i want but......so im thinken 5 1/2 or sumtin...im gunna have to make a adapter plate either way but the 6 1/2 would require me to cut the door

The midrange would need a crossover also.

Well, the mids will 100% need a crossover, no question about it, so if they don't come with one you'll need to either build your own or buy an active crossover. You'll need to be able to bandpass the mids.

hmm, i say cd... eehehhe. just kidding.

but yea, the mids are going to need that xover. sounds much better and wont get the wrong freq's but id say listen to them first if you can.
