I was wondering what you guys would recommend for a decent set of 6x9's for around 150 bux... im a mtx fan, but i dont really know anything about their speakers, are they anygood?

Anyways, have you upgraded your front speakers yet?? If not, that's what you should look into first.

Well, i say build a gasket that would hold a 6.5" midbass driver and a tweeter.... screw 6x9's.

I'm gonna get some new speakers for the front, but theyre only 4" dash speakers, so im not to concerened about them, but I doubt ill make a gasket or anything, i just wanna get a decent pair of 6x9's

make some fiberglass kickpods, it's really not that hard, trust me the front stage is more important than the rears, I'm taking out my 6X9's and plugging them into the wall... and I just built fiberglass enclosures and put in CDT 6.5 comps and EVERY SINGLE ONE of my friends said that I had the cleanest sound that wasn't in a competition car...
If you want to drive down to Dayton I might just give them to you, although if I don't like you I'll tell you that you just wasted a bunch of gas... so the odds are it won't be worth your time... cause I can be quite a ****...:imdama:
