I am looking for the best SQ 6.5" coaxials under 115 online. I want good mid bass and tweeters that dont get harsh. I am being sold on Type R's by a friend, but, i also wanna know what the world of caraudio.com thinks. Please suggest anything. These will be a birthday gifts to me, so i want them to be worth it.

why not save up and do a component set? are u powering off an amplifier? Type R's should be pretty good, just shop around and see what ones u like...i personally liked the infinity kappa coaxials.

Its to bad you only have $115.
Cuz you know what i would suggest,
"K" mids "C" silk tweets and the 560 crossover.

Well, I've heard from some very respectable sources who know what speakers are supposed to sound like say that the Pioneer REV series co-axials were some of the best co-axials they had ever heard

115 online is like....190 in stores. The only reason i am not getting components is cause for one, i am running off a HU, for 2, i dont want to mount tweeters. A friend suggested the type R's, said they were great, someone else said the CDT Cl-6x's.....

I know, but i have been told they are better than Type R's....idk who to believe. All the local shops have it seems are ****** speakers and you can never hear how speakers sound off a HU. At a shop they are always amped. Supa, do u use AIM?
