need help in deciding on what HU to get

i dont have a job and money is coming very slowly (im 16) so budget is an issue
i really dont have more then 150$ to spend on a HU so i was thinking of getting the pioneer DEH-P4600 but i read about the alpine HU (Alpine CDA-9826 or Alpine CDA-9830) are they that much better?
ive decided to buy 2 pairs of infinity kappa speakers with it if it makes a diffrence i dont have enough money to buy an amp with them

oh and by the way our best buy ***** *** so ont tell me to go see for my self cause they dont carry infinitys & alpine

maybe you should save your money till you can get something better. seriously. i know this isnt the answer you want but 150 isnt enough, unless you browse the classfields section for something used id even rather do that.

Hey if your interested in used I have a older High end kenwood excelon. its not mp3 but is a bad azz h/u. I am getting rid of all my stuff and will hook you up. Just a thought you can think of. I didnt know if you wanted to go new or used. But the new cheap h/us **** azz I just tried a alpine thats a lower line my little brother got and its terrible. MAde the car sound so bad. So some exp advice do save up for a better h/u than a lower line one, cause you will regret it. That h/u is the brain of your system, you dont want the cheapest brain with great speakers subs etc. I know because in my setup if I do nothing but change the h/u its a night and day in the SQ of it. and that goes for the rest of the setups as well. As you a newcomer we are just tryn to help you out and give you good advice because we have made those mistakes first.

MUCH better choice. 9830 is a great unit.

This Head unit will cost you only about 100 bucks and its a great budget unit. I've been really satisfied with mine for over a year now.
