Alright guys, i have a rockford fosgate amp that puts out 50 watts into 2 channels for my speakers and i was wondering what would be best to use in my 2000 chevy truck. these

also, would i use the amp? i have an alpine cda-9815 with a power wire run to the battery, i was told by a friend that the infinity's would sound better with no amp than the hifonics with an amp. please help me out, thanks

Well, first, those links dont work. Second, all speakers sound better off an amp.

If I understand you correctly, then I think your friend may have been putting down the Hifonic speakers, saying that the infinities would sound better even off of just HU power than what the Hifonics would sound running off of an amp.

Go with infinity. A lot more solid product...IMO.
