Im looking to buy a great set of 6.5 comps for my explorer. I plan on building kicks for them, what do u guys think would be the best set for about 200-300, Thanks.

No, but im willing to drop some cash on whatever qood quality amp I will need.

edit: I was also thinking of going with 2 sets since I have the room, good idea or no?

go with the alpine type R's or u go with the cdt one onlinecarstereo.com. Then get an amp for millionbuy.com

PM djdilliondon on here about CDT stuff. Never dealt with him, but has great prices on CDT gear...he lives like 10 minutes from me too :)

Would u guys rather have 2 sets of good speakers or one set of ****** speakers. Im jw cause I have 3 ported Ks and I just want to make sure one set will keep up.

actually ur rear speakers are rear feel. I mean some run with any rear speakers at all. I would get some infinty for the back then go and get some cdt compents for the front and wang away.

Just get a one pair of ****** speakers :) Get some nice power to them, and they should keep up just fine. Those Seas are supposed to be petty darn good. Image Dynamics Chamealon(sp?) are a good choice also. Also check out Focal, DLS, Rainbow, Morel and the Peerless Definition comp set.

I'd wait to pick out an amp until after you nail down which comps you are getting.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will most likely go with this amp http://www.millionbuy.com/souxta3604.html Im pretty sure Im gonna go with a ****** set of CDTs. Im waiting for money to come in off of a lawsuit I just won so I will have prob at least 1-2k to spend on whatever I need. :)

CDT HD-62 set with a quality 150x2 rms + will sound awesome and is in budget less than 300 shipped:)
