CDT HD62 or ED6500s ?

What are the true differences between these 2 speakers. According to the guy i talked to (dealer) they are exactly the same but $70 CDN cheaper. Sound difference ? Worth saving the 70 beans or just pay the difference and stick with CDT HD62 ?

ED as in Elemental Designs ? I'd stay away just from their rep... + I like my HD 62's :)

they are the same, my 6500s have cdt on the bottom and came with the 560 satnet crossovers. they are just unpainted and unbadged
