i got a rockford *cough*piece of crap*cough* fosgate deck. it ***** terribly. it overheats when i play CDs and it wont read MP3's anymore.

i was looking at the alpine CDA, and then i heard about how the eclipse has better SQ, but i NEED mp3 support. i just found this

eclipse cd3414 (http://www.eclipse-web.com/products/cdtuner/top.html#cd3413)

there are only 2 HU's with standard MP3 support thats not *optional* as they call it- and requires some other thing that cost a bucketload of money.

basically i want SQ and MP3.. i want the load times fast. i want the price ~200 or less and i dont want it to break.

i cant find a place to even buy this infernal thing from. anyone give me a hand?

Never used it......but for a place to buy, you must buy them from a local authorized dealer. Eclipse has a dealer locator on their webpage.

Eclipse makes excellent stuff. I have used many of their head units. I don't believe Eclipse has had a dealer locator on their website for nearly 2 years.

Here is the number to call to be automatically connected to the nearest dealer.

Eclipse Dealer Locater Number
800-553-2547
800-55-ECLIPSE

For 2004, I think all eclipse models support mp3 except for the lowest end model
