Already been done, a few years back A.D.S and McIntosh both built 8 channel amps. Not sure if they are still avaliable though....... :D :D :D

Did you ever run the Crystals with the Q4000? Just wondering if you could hear any difference between it and the CA400.

I have some old Earthquake "annihilator" amp. AH-200, or maybe it's HA-200. From they way Earthquake rates it's amps, I believe it's 50x2 @ 4 ohm to my RE comps.

I run a Coustic Design Reference Amp-514DR currently on my "comp set" (horns and mids, actively crossed). The Coustic Design Reference line is Coustic's high-end amp from back in the day (mid '90s). After the install is finished, I'll have two Coustic DR Amp-505DR's and two Coustic DR Amp-510DR's (all four bridged mono) on my front stage.
