Right now i am running my speakers off my head unit, and i think they sound pretty **** good. What i was wonderning is would a set of components be worth running off the head unit or should i wait till i buy a 4 channel amp?

amp them first...i recently got my Bostons running off of around 80 watts per channel, and am amazed at the difference.

ya, i am happy with my kickers, with my hpf at 125, they sound real good and can play at about 95 percent of what my deck gives them without distorting

are you kidding me?

Get a pair of comps and run it off an amp, you won't be disapointed.

Yes get some componetns, and get an amp for them... I wouldn't bother amping your other speakers. A good set of comps and a nice amp to power them is really all you need, and trust me I added comps in my truck a few months ago and it's much louder, much clearer, and better highs. It's like night and day.

Right now, i am happy with my speakers. They sound good, but the tweeters get kinda harsh when i crank it up to like 20 RMS off my deck.
