Alpine cda-9811 problem

I just recently got an alpine cda 9811, and every time i try to turn it up loud, it shuts off is there some kind of of thing that prevents turning up to a certain volume? it shuts off at different levels for different songs, and its not really that loud

looks like a loose connection. check your wire harness and make sure all of the wires, especially the power and ground wires, have a good connection.

actually i had an older alpine that did that, but it was only if i changed volume really quick and it jsut shut of then emediattly turned on, i never could figure out why, but never gave me any real prob.
