i'm asking cuz I thinkmy infinity tweeters are 1 1/4" and the new ones i might get are only 3/4"...

actually i'm mistaken, the ones i have are 1" and i believe theones i'm getting are 3/4"

Do you think whatever mounting brackets the 3/4" comes wtih will make it fit in the 1" hole or is it too big? how do i make it smaller?

i think if they are flush mounted and you are getting smaller ones, you have a problem.

i would suggest a trip to your local junk yard and finding the same car\color dash trim and getting a new piece for cheap...

hm i guess i'll just upgrade the components to 1" tweeters...yeah? that should be no problem then right? these are door panels i'm talkin about

and it's an 03 maxima....junk yards have no parts for my car

I'm sure you could fabricate something that wouldn't look *too* ****.

i'm sure many of you guys have upgraded components and drilled holes for your original tweets. what'd you do about this? just get the same size? my 1" infinitys are flush mounted...if i get a 1" cdt insetad of a 3/4, you think the flush mount bracket would fit teh same?
