K this will be my first post on here but basically I got a Pioneer DEH7400 deck to start and just upgraded my rear 6x9's in my 2000 elantra with Rockford Fosgate 6X9 Punch series. The rms is rated max 75 with max watt 150 but I noticed that they seem to distort at around 20 on volume even if I tune down the bass on the deck etc. Do you think I should run a extra amp to them to give em more punch?? if so what kind would do fine. somethign small i assume.
they sound like they need extra power to really bring them out.

why not replace all 4 speakers at once?

on the elantra the front speakers aint a direct fit in, have to make custom plates or wahtever they use cause hyundai decided to put a oversize 6in speaker stock and 6 1/2's will fit but with a custom fit. but back to the rear speakers.
tonight I went and put all the fade and tune to the right rear 6x9 and they were thumping and sounded awsome but as soon as I made it so both left and right were workin together they soudned like ****. same with me spliting it to front and rear. isnt this cause the deck cant push them enough when its using its power to power the other 3 speakers?
