I've got a DEH-P3500 (almost a year now) and I'm having a little problem, and before anyone says the speakers are busted, they're not. When I unhook one speaker, doesn't matter which, the other 3 will sound fine. When I hook it back up, they all have static.

Btw, this thing must not have been wired right. I unhooked it today and put my factory Monte Carlo HU in and this thing has plenty of bass. My pioneer ****** for bass. I don't know what was wrong with the install but it couldnt' have been right. Can someone please help?

Well, I unhooked my tweeters and things work fine now. I'm gussing one of the tweeter wires are touching something..I dunno. But I still have no clue why the stock radio is putting out more than my pioneer.

I need to know if all after market hu's put out less than factory. I always thought it was the other way around but the difference is really big, and the factory tape player really sounds awesome...much better than the pioneer. It's just that it doesn't play cd's. Is this normal?
