I am building an sealed box for 2 10 inch pioneer's (TS-W250R). It is going in the trunk of an 2000 nissan sentra. I have figured out the dimension ( 14x23x10=1.863). So each sub will be seeing about .931 cu ft. Here is the delimna, I am gonna seperate the subs so they do not cross talk with an 3/4 peice of mdf. I do not know how to factor that peice of wood out of the equation so I get the true internal cu ft of the box.

thanks in advance

subtract the volume of the divider...

3/4" x however long your box is x however high your box is.

you want to know how much volume that MDF divider is taking up, correct?

So to get the volume of the MDF, take the width, multiplied by the height, multiplied by the length.

thanks man it have built like 4 ported boxs off of guessin but i think it is now time to figure out the math. hope it will work out fine. He wants to get max performance out of the littlest space as possible.

you did davide by 1728 to get the awnser in cubic feet right?
14x13x10 divided by 1728 = 1.053 cubic feet
then x whatever the hight is by whatever the length is and x by .75
then 1.053- whatever you get will= the awsner
considering the dimensions are innternal if they are external dimensions subtract 1.5 from all dimensions and repeat the process i have jus explained.

if you used your way im afraid to see what your ported box's are like.....
