cdt hd or diamond hex

hi, ive been through a few component sets so far an d i think its time to upgrade.
my first set were xplods which i hated, second were kappas which were alright but the tweets were really harsh at loud volumes. I now have the cdt ef61's. these are great and i have no probs but i feel i can get something better. the midbass also lacked a bit.

so i was considering the hd's, hexes, polykevlars, kodas, or rainbow contour line.

300-400 price range give or take 50 bucks.

of the choices, what would give me a better midbass response. better overall sound???
this is being powered off of a 100x2 amp thanx in advance

I'd take the kodas if you are looking for midbass performance. I havnt heard the rainbows or polykevlars though.

have u heard the kodas?? i havent personally heard them but ive heard a shiva and it pounded so i know that adire makes good ish. was just wondering if the clarity was on par with the hd's and the hexs

Yep, two different vehicles. One was Josh Laine's. Sounded beautiful and I was able to hear some without a sub playing and they seemed to stay pretty **** flat to pretty **** low :) Great midbass on top of it all.

thanx, i'll probably be stuck on deciding on those kodas or the hd's. just because ive heard the cl's and the ef's and i liked both of them.

decided on the kodas, but i hear re's set is out. has anybody heard the re or xxx set?
