This box is ~19-20^3 and its got 2 XXX 18's arriving Monday to fill it. I have the front baffle done but am unsure of how-much port area I should run..Suggestions would be great.

If it's for daily driving, around 250-300in should cut it...for SPL, go with the total SD of the drivers...

Go big. I'd recommend what John recommended. Upwards of 300in^2.

ok the dude in there who did a 154.x can still radically increase his score if he works with his port some more. PM me for details...

As far as your box, you better add about 3 more sheets of MDF (minimum) to all sides. When you have more than 10cf of air, the mdf gets weak in the middle of those larger sheets. (I had a 27cf box for 2 9515s a long time ago.) I'd also think that the box is a bit larger than optimal, but that also depends on the power applied... How much power you pushing to them?

As far as port, I'd do equal to the combined sd of the driver if you can for daily. For spl as much as you can.

Well, If I didnt have to come into work today it would be done by now. I had to cut 2 16.5" holes and a 38.5 x 7.5" port through the 1.5" MDF with a 18 year old jigsaw with a rusted *** blade. I broke my other saw cutting through some f/g last weekend. Not Fun.
It just needs to have the port installed and the subs should be arriving monday. Hopefully Ill get some pics up soon. Should be pretty quiet..

About doubling it up, I added so much f/g in the corners along with the all-thread and the 45's ive got bracing it, its not flexing. I layed down in it and kicked it with both feet and it didnt resoanate at all. The double baffle was a must though, Im having the port span all the way across the bottom 7.5"s tall affixed to the front and both sides bracing it a little more.

Thanks for all the comments
