Im driving a Civic HatchBack with a large trunk space so I made the box a tad bigger at 4.0ft^3 Is this an ok thing to do? I measured out a box thats 35.15'' x 13.25'' x 19'' with a port thats 8.95'' x 3'' x 10.10'' Deep and tuned to 35Hz On WinISD it shows a peak curve at about 39Hz 6.7dB... Is this alright, Im more techno hiphop style music, Quality doesnt have to be great I know its an AudioBahn ... but I was wondering if someone could check the numbers and all..?

Also what do you guys do to brace the box well?

WinISD is very inaccurate at finding port length. If your good with numbers, go to www.jlaudio.com go to box building in the turtorial section and use the formula there.

how is it innacurate...?Just doesn't give the correct values. I saw another post where WinISD suggested a 87" port, longest side was like 20".

I know this program might be old Im not sure, its Dos based but what do you guys think of the accuracy of BlauBox? I tried it out with my designs and decided to go with a Tube Port, 5'' Diam 7.09'' Long as a good start, I get different results from WinISD but Blaubox is made by Tom Breithaupt of Blaupunkt/USA. Im going to look around for some more and test my results. Ive modified the box a little

35.125x19x13.25 comes out to be 4cuft and the port I specified above. ~~

I was wondering on bracing and also on mounting a tube style port. Im going to right now to do a search. :clap:

If your going to do a round port I highly recommend Precision ports from www.partsexpress.com.
