where is the cheapest place to get resin. ive looked at marine shops but they have wax resin and other crap in there i dont want. im still practicing with the little bit i bought, but i will need lots because the enclosure will be storing 2 15" brahamas so i will need to do alot of layers. im not to shure if the marine resin is ok for boxes, they have wierd stuff in them. mrfiberglass.com looks cheap?. no resin on ebay only fiberglass :crap:

walmart, home depot, autozone all of those places carry the products you need. call them up and find out which is the cheapest.

not for resin. the audio shops quoted my bro $250! for ported. he wants them to build it because he is stupid.

Most " marine" resins are epoxy resin. Which is perfectly fine just more expensive. The kind with wax you speak of is finishing resin. The wax forms on the outside of the resin to help it cure fully. You can remove it pretty easily if you sand it off. Without that wax coating the resin wouldn't cure fully, and it would have a sticky texture too it :)
