Help making a cover for sub boxes

Trying to think of ways to "Connect" my sub enclosures to the sides of my truck.

Was wondering if u guys had any ideas?

It's my Tahoe, will have 2 boxes about 22" high, so they will b in line with the windows. Want to make it look as if the boxes are one with the truck.

Was thinking of using a mix of a thin wood along with fiberglass. Npt exactly sure about how to do this.

Any suggestions?

I'm looking to do the same project. Mine is in a ford explorer and my box is 20 inches tall. What i want to do is place 1/2" mdf over top the entire cargo bay and make it about 2-5 inches over the top of my box, to put my custom amp rack. Then i'm gonna connect the box ( i have it facing out towards the back door) and put another mdf piece across the front of the sub box about 1/2 way down and connect the sub to that so its "unstealable" until you get the top shelf off. Hard to do but it's a project i'd like to try, good luck on ur install.
