$925 for plastic

IGNORANCE IS BLISS

Phoenix Gold Cyclone is made up from; carbon fiber, ferrite, steel, titanium, rubber, and yes plastic. But a product is much more than its parts. Very few low frequency transducers can achieve a high db and clean output down to 10hz with less than 200 watts and a box no bigger than 2'.

Great sub, FYI they need 3 cubes ported to achieve their frequency response. Ideally closer to 3.5 if you want more authority.

Rotary subwoofers are way more effecient for their intended frequency range than a standard subwoofer. These things are a true mid 80 to low 90 db at 1w/1m, OUTSIDE the car, at 10hz.. To put that into perspective even if your 4 18's are tuned in the mid 20's a pair of these cyclones could keep up with your 18's at 10hz, and the z4's are designed to kill the lows.. It's just very hard to match the effeciency on the lowest of lows with standard woofer technology. (that being said at say 30hz the cyclones would be no match whatsover)

What good is 10hz for a musical application?
;)

If you have never listened/felt a Cyclone then you will never know. Low frequency reproduction perception is more than just "hearing" a frequency. ..

I paid your mom half of that to use some plastic on camera.

Don't be a douche and dump in a FS thread, especially when it's something as rare and well renowned as this.
