On their site? I just looked it up. They're $209+
Any subs you'd recommend on the classifieds. Saw A BTL triple stack and A Sundown Zv1 with Zv3 parts, was thinking about buying one of those, but don't know much on how they sound.

Thats a decent sub but if you have room for 2 15s and can buy them new with warranty in ur budget id rather go that route

Yeah, that's true. Any 18s you'd recommend? I have room for two of those as well.

2 obsidian 18's would be a good. they will get loud and sound good and lower power subs so not alot of power is needed to get loud. they are rated 600rms each but will take around 1200rms CLEAN

In that price range id look at the obsidian 18s...do you have 12 cu ft after port and sub disp to work with?

Ah alright, thanks. Any suggestions on an amp for the crescendo pwx 6.5s? Mine recently went out and i'm having trouble looking for a replacement.

And I can put the 2500 watts between them both?
Most likely not the whole 2500 rms anyway. Alt doesn't charge fast enough.

Would this be enough?
L:52 (This is with no passenger seats)
W:31
H:23 ( can be more, that's just below the where the window begins.)

thats 24 cubes

With mu backseats down. The dimensions would be: L:3' W:3' H:2' 18 cube ft.

If you want to use 24 cu you could run 4 18's or a bunch of other choices like 8 sq hd212's with a large port.

I would, only if I had the funds. :p really can't go more subs. I'd need an extra alt and another battery. Plus true 0 gauge. I have that soundquest sheet.

Stick with 2 sq hds315's and do a 4th order bandpass they will do great in one.

and on the bandpass box, how much would that cost? I was just planning on building a simple box. Mostly because of my budget, which isnt very much.

Obsidians work well in bandpass but the hds315 has a larger coil and will take the power better. You can build a 4th order there not that hard. I did a blow thru in a Buddy's s10 with a pair of 12type R's and it sounds amazing clamped only 726w. There are a few people on here that can design you a box and cut sheet. Suggest a 3to1 ratio tuned at 47-48hz.

why that tuning? I was thinking 30-32hz.
And yeah, my stepdad said bandpass boxes are the ****.
what all i really want is to be heard before im seen.

I think im just going to go with the 15s because they are cheaper. the obsidians would be about 440 and the hds' aee 289

Bandpass boxes are supposed to be tuned high like that. The one I built was tuned at 47 and had a 4to1 ratio it was very strong from 30 to 45 hz and had decent output down to low 20's. The higher the ratio the more efficient but narrower bandwidth so a 3to1 tuned to 48 should do mid 20's to 50hz strong and peak in upper 30's. Trust me I'm running 2 15's on 5k and I was very surprised by the output of the type R's on so little power. I would do a 4th but mine are not very good for 4ths.

ah, alright. gotcha. You know anyone in particular that makes the bandpass'?

Depends what your looking for a fully built box, a very well done cad rendering of box plus full cut sheet or just basic design with dimensions.

[email protected] they should be able to help you. Just tell them space available dimensions subs being used and desired box design.

I don't have sufficient wattage for those, plus I only have stock electrical. Stock alt couldn't keep up.
