How's it going everyone? I'm needing help picking out something for my front stage in my show truck (94 chevy ext cab). I mostly only listen to metal/hard rock. More worried about sq but i do want to be able to get really loud when i want and keep up with my subs.My budget is around $200-250 tops. Doors have been sealed and the cab has been covered in fatmat from top to bottom. Thanks in advance for any help! Below is a list of what I currently have.

JVC kd-a95bt

Skar vxi 6.5 components in the doors 1 set (has plenty of highs but no balls)

Skar sk125.4 for front stage

Skar sk1500 for the subs

2 Skar vvx 10's ported @ 38hz in a custom fiberglass enclosure

how much pwr are they getting from the 4 channel amp? have you tried to bridge that amp to run your splits with more pwr (what are they rated at?)

Soundqubed 6.5 PA mids and supertweeters would do the job. Run that set up in the wifey's van and it keeps up with 2 15's no problem. She's a metalhead, mostly 80's stuff...

The components are rated at 60 rms per side. The amp is rated at 203rms x4 @2ohm and 133 x4 @ 4ohm. Not sure how much power they are getting but cant be much. At high volumes they pop and on my headunit i have them cut off at 100hz.I'm not opposed to using pro audio but I've never heard any of them and I'm not sure what kind of sound processing I would need for them since my headunit isn't active.

You said the set you have has no balls, what other than sq do you want from a set of speakers?

I'm really just trying to achieve more midbass and I don't which direction to go. Keep my 6.5's for midrange and add a set of 8's in the doors for midbass or get rid of my 6.5's and go with better components like the jbl ms62 or some re xxx 6.5. So many options and not sure which one to pick...

If you decide to change speakers or amps let me know I'll buy the old stuff
