My build goes as follows.
Subs: 2 tantric hdd 12s
Sub amp: sundown saz-5000d
4 channel: Helix hxa 400
components: no f'n clue
electrical: 3 xs power d3100s in car, 1 xs power f24 under hood
Alt: mecman 240a h.o soon to be 2 singer 6 stage hairpin 320a alts externally regulated to 15v
3 runs of 1/0 gauge sky high ofc.

I really want something with alot of midbass and warm smooth sounding tweeters. I would like to keep it under 600$
This is all going in a 98 lexus es300
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have been considering ground zero and tantric components. Any advise?

i'd say you really dont need to spend that much on speakers man. The gains aren't big enough for you to say holy shiet! This was totally worth the dough. You can have great sound with moderately priced equipment if you spend a lot more time tuning and prepping your doors for midbass and midrange and finding the sweetspot to mount your tweeters. High dollar items do perform better but its becoming more of a bling factor now.

I would run four 8 inch midbasses up front to keep up with your 2 hdds and some silk dome tweets placed close to the mids. This would require some custom fiberglassing though. No matter what people say, one pair of 6.5s are not gonna keep up with a big system when it comes to midbass if your a midbass junkie. Also, are you going active or just gonna use crossovers?

Im not going active right off the bat. Ive got a alpine 137bt h.u and want to upgrade to a nice eclipse. But yea thats y i was thinking 3 way but i figured itd be better to go with 8in mid bass n real nice silk domes. Can u recommend anything as far as that goes? N if i run that many speakers up front shuld i look at getting a 6 channel amp.or a real beefy 4. My helix bridged will put out close to 200 bridged per side

Yeah a 3 way front stage will sound a lot nicer then a 2 way most of the times if it always. If you have the mounting depth for it, go for exodus anarchy 8s or peerless sls 8s midbasses and Vifa xt25 tweets and silverflute 6.5s mids or CDT ES-02 mids to save on space and fiberglassing work. Also your amp should be fine, you can always upgrade that later if you feel the need to.

that aside, i also have jbl ms62 6.5s i'm not using and they are great drivers for midrange clarity, not much midbass though. (wouldnt be car audio .com without someone throwing a sales pitch in every thread right?)

The dyn's are very nice. But way over your $600 budget. The ground zeros I seen are very nice and they did sound really good to but your gonna need at least 2 sets to keep up with the saz 5000 and 4 subs

only got 2 subs as of right now. guna wall off in about 6 months and run 4 15s but for now 2 powerful 12s. im really contemplating doing like 4 8 inch mid woofers and maybe 2 3 inch mid range and 2 or 4 nice warm tweets.

If your gonna run the saz. Then just get a pair of hdd 15s and rebuild your 12s to 15s. Done. You'll be able to run 10k. + in power to the subs then

than i can put 30000 watts daily to 6 shd and do like a 50k or 60k burp. i dont know where im going to put the amps. may have to not only keep my back seats out. take the passenger seat out for my 5 1100.1 amps or 4 maybe and than a HUGE battery bank n 3 singer 320 alts. i may even want to consider running a seperate charging system n do a 16 or 18v system. n im guna need to sound deaden theeee fcuk out of my car and hope it doesnt fall apart lol

do you think my cars frame can handle a 50-60k watt burp or will it just fold?
