ive always ran comp sets but just say that if i were in the market for a nice sounding set of coaxials that get fairly loud then what would you recommend? Looking at the Jbl p662s 6.5" speakers. yea or nay?

Hertz tantric phd

any specific model or model #. Phd seems as if they are all comp sets and the hertz have many levels....tantrics says "coming soon"

Tantrics are out now. I can get them. The hertz hi energy I'd need to check if the phd set is in stock

I bought some CDT's from mylows a while back and I've been loving them so far. I'd recommend for sure.

I was gonna go with Coax but they wouldn't fit in my doors so I went Comps. CDT has some "convertible" speakers that you can either mount like a coax setup or separate them and run them like comps.

I went with the CL-61 two ohm set which came with the CL-61ED speakers and TV-25 tweets which fill in the highs just well for me. They also handle a **** good amount of power too. I'm babying them right now and they're still loud.

I like the 010. Tweets better and cdtakes a recone kit for them. They also take way more power than all the other cdt tweets

You can get DRT-26 with these coaxials: DRT-26CXS (http://cdtdealer.com/easy-way-electronics/coaxials/drt26cxs.htm)
There's also a coaxial using the WS-100i tweeter, which is DRT-26S in a custom housing. HD-6100iEX (http://cdtaudio.com/coaxials/hd6100iex.htm)
Either set can be ordered as a 2 ohm set. 4 ohm is the default.

I would expect those JBL coaxials to sound good, but they won't give you the same sound as CDT.

really liking these cdt's. But...i can get 2 sets of the jbl's(front and rear doors) for half the price . just not looking to spend that much on this setup but maybe on another project the cdt's may be something i will pick up.
