I was wondering why neons are so expensive? There are 9" ones for $21 and 20" ones for $28. It just doesn't make any sense to me, can anyone explain? Thanks in advance.

dunno ..... i post at computer forums and cold cathodes and neons can be had for fractions of the price. you can get 2 cold cathode tubes *thinner, brighter, no converter thingy attached to the end* for 13 bucks.
i cant find the site, but heres one place
http://www.newegg.com/ - search for cathode
edit: i found the site, heres blue
and in general what they have
the only thing that ***** is sizes. for my interior dash lighting i needed a 6" and a 3"
