As the title says, which of these would perform better in a sealed enclosure? I am still a newb with modeling programs and installs. I am currently running a sa8v2 on 500watts in a 33hz ported box due to space limitations. Planning to upgrade my electric to run a saz2000 or saz2500. I'd like to have it pushing either a x or zv4 10 in a sealed enclosure. Does anyone know if these subs will perform well in a sealed enclosure?

i'd port them. look at the surround on those subs, they wanna flop. i had an x18 on a SAZ-2000 btw and it laughed at that power.

I can only fit about 1.2 cubes in a center console box. I don't think that will be enough unless I do an external port. I drive a 2003 double-cab Tacoma. Only other place for a powerful sub setup would be a blow-through.

Both subs would be a waste sealed ..find something more suited for ur application
