I have a 3.3^3 box tuned to 32hz. I would like to tune it lower. I had the box before I got the Brahma so how would i do this. I was thinking of adding a little bit of poly fill to the box to make it seem a bit bigger. How would i go about tuning this box lower for this sub. Would I just add a few inches to http://www.photodump.com/direct/trix/0009.jpg << this little wall or what, and how many inches of wall would I need to tune to around 28 hz or the best hz for this sub? And would i need poly fill or what :)?

you could add length to your current port which would lower the tunning freq. i don't think adding pollyfill will help since it would only affect the characteristics of the enclosure and not the port. also, you'll have to provide more info to caculate how many inches to add to your current port.

What info do I need to include exactly.Whats the ideal tune for that sub? I really like your avatar BTW.

we need to know current length of port and area of port

just provide as many measurements of the enclosure as you can. generally LxWxH, width of port, and the thickness of wood. the ideal tunning frequency is based on your preference. you can tune at a higher frequency for spl applications or tune low for sql applications. i have a 12" brahma tuned to 28hz because i wanted sql performance. btw, i take it you have a 15" brahma based on the size of the enclosure. but let us know the size just to be sure.

I will get measurements of the box tomorrow. If its too much trouble then i will just leave the box alone. 32 hz should be fine will tuning it to 28 hz or so make that much of a difference? I want to be LOUD!!!!! But I want to maintain accurate, tight, clean bass..And this is the sub to do it I heard.
