who built them?

Well, I did a little work on them after the fact, that vinyl was not put on the best, so I had to take it off resand it, clear coat it, and hopefully tomorrow rewrap them. But Columbus Car Audio did all the heavy lifting.

Cool, did they have a car likes yours to do the aiming or did they just guess?

It was a buddy of mine, I dropped it off and told him where I wanted it aimed. The lady and I left to get something to eat and to get stuff for school. When we came back we went over the angles that he made and I gave him the ok and a week later, bam.

Yes, I get no reflection from the driver's side window this way.

I know it's car dependent, but for 2 seat imaging would you recommend aiming at the top of the b pillar for both? These will be installed in a Scion FR-S.

I'm not sure, probably but without knowing the car I can only say so much.

I really appreciate your help. One last question: how did you mount the tweeters? I know they have the rear chamber part, just curious if you used it or not, and what you used for the mounting ring. I've built A-pillars before and just used MDF, but used a different style tweeter.

I did not utilize the rear chamber, but they were quite easy to mount. I just made the mdf ring real snug, and pushed them in there.

To be quite honest, unless you are placing them in the kick panels, you won't be happy for two seat imaging. Two seat imaging is virtually impossible with A-Pillar or pods like Geoff. T/A won't help much. You have to extend your PLD so that they are as close to the same as possible, and in the kicks, you have that possibility. The only other option is to have a center channel speaker.

Sorry for the bad news, but in my experience, that is the way it is. In my system, I will be going with my midbass in the doors, and the 4/tw combo in the kicks. No a-pillar design is in the works. I hate putting the mb in the doors, but I will be competing 2 seat and I need the PLD for the 4/tw, which handle my voice and highs.
