Memphis has them rated at 250/500 rms/peak, they are a nice entry level sub...I had built the customer a 3 cube box tuned to 33hz for both of them and they hammered like a mad bit*h in his little neon.....lol

Yeah I like Memphis. They're a solid company. Getting some "entry level" subs for my daughter and these might fit the bill. Especially if both of them only need 3 cubes... Her trunk isn't all that big. I'm just trying to have her punk out her little friends P1's and Kenwoods. Lol!

Gonna talk to the boss when I get home tonight. Shouldn't be too much of a fight. She knows its coming. I already have an amp she can use and installed the amp kit last week... I'll spend a little more on a DC box (rabbit's local) and she should be good to go.

Lol...I guess I'm not the only one that understands the necessity of having to "talk to the boss" when you get home concept. I definitely makes for keeping a happy home...:):):)

Oh yeah! We BOTH don't make any purchases w/o consulting each other. She spends quite a bit more on clothes that I do on car audio so there's usually no argument. I'm happy with Walmart Jeans if it means having a new setup every 6 months. She thinks my priorities are out of whack. I think her's are! Lol!

I'm in Little Rock, AR and as far as them hitting harder than the type R's, I can't say because I haven't heard a set of type R's in many years. The Memphis did hit pretty hard in the box I built for the customer and in his Neon.....
