Custom Slot Ported MDF Enclosure Box for 2 12" Sub Woofers 4 ft 3 Tuned 32Hz | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-SLOT-PORTED-MDF-ENCLOSURE-BOX-for-2-12-SUB-WOOFERS-4-ft-3-TUNED-32Hz-/360485928693?pt=US_Speaker_Sub_Enclosures&hash=item53eea2bef5&vxp=mtr)

Would this be a good choice for 2 Sundown SA 12's or should i just look into getting a custom box built

double 07 ; This enclosure actually looks pretty solid. But for just a little more money I think Brian would be able to build you an enclosure specifically to your cars dimensions and better suited for the SA12's.

Decent, never will beat custom though.

Agreed. I have seen mixed reviews on those very enclosures. Though I have never seen one come through the shop yet.

I know it varies from car to car but whats a rough estimate on a custom built box for 2 12s

You need to know what will fit through your opening if its a trunk.

How the heck do they sell them for 150 shipped and make a profit?!?!? But I also vote custom design and build yourself or have someone else build it

Typically you will be around $200 shipped for a custom enclosure. Unless you start wanting to add different things like vinyl..plexi...and so on.

If they are building them their self..I have no idea. However, i would bet they are not doing that. It is more then likely outsourced labor to lower costs.

I would def go with custom build it yourself or get a buddy to do it, there are a few shops down here in Texas that builds box for the specs woofers for a good price. Idk. But I've heard sa's needed to be treated nicely :)
