The factory radio in my Girlfriends car is acting up and we want to replace it.
Im leaning towards a Double Din DVD receiver (no navigation required).
Right now she has a Droid 3 phone, but will be upgrading soon to something else. May go to the dark side and get her an Iphone 5. (yes i am a droid fan)
With that said, it seems that all of the DVD Receivers have much better I-Phone integration than they do with Android phones.

The unit has to be simple to operate, be able to have both a flash drive stuck in the USB port, I-Phone connected and or MP3 Player stuck in the Aux port and be able to seamlessly switch from one to the other.
I see her mostly running the flash drive and occasionally playing Pandora from her phone via bluetooth or just popping a CD in and listening to it.

I would prefer a rotary knob for volume control vs touch screen.
Satellite or HD Radio not necessary
Solid phone integration via BT a must.
Price is a factor and we would like to keep the cost below $375

The DVD Receivers im looking at are as follows:
JVC KWAV61BT (great price, reviews seem mostly positive, easy to use, yes leaning heavily towards the JVC)
Pioneer AVH-X2500BT (no rotary knob) or possibly AVH-X5500BHS
Alpine IVE-W530 (getting out of price range)

Im looking at the Scosche TA2101B double din adapter and the Metra 70-1761 wiring adapter to complete the job.

Any other suggestions welcomed.
