I need something that would fall into the SQL category for my front stage. I want to do a 6.5 comp set, something that can take 100-120w each driver. Needs to get loud as Ill have a 3k sub stage..

6.5" CDT Audio HD-62 Component Set Package or Image Dynamics CTX-6.5cs or Polk Audio MM6501 or Rockford Fosgate T3652-S.. All depend what you want it and how much you can afford. You can get a 3-way or 2-way or custom build your set. What is your budget range?

Amazon.com: XXX6.5C - RE Audio 6.5" XXX Series Car Component Speakers: Car Electronics (http://www.amazon.com/XXX6-5C-Audio-Series-Component-Speakers/dp/B0056BDRR6) if you want something cheaper. I heard they are good.

CK6X is a newer model with a revised crossover. I would be more comfortable recommending the RK6 set if you want to run a lot of power to the speakers. They're rated for 250W RMS. I sell them for $200. CDT HD-62 is a nice choice that would sound more natural than RK6 but you'd be stretching your budget.

You can learn to appreciate a better sounding set of speakers. :) You may need to reduce the bass level to actually hear the difference, but it can be very well worth it.

I got a deal on some 6.5s from the focal ps165 set I couldn't pass up. What tweets now?

Anyone know the name of the driver also?
