View Full Version : IR codes for Clarion remotes?

I'm trying to control my clarion headunit using an IR led. Since my own remote isn't functioning at all, I cannot use this device to learn the IR codes transmitted by the original remote, so I'm looking for someone with a working remote who's willing to help me out :)
If you have a clarion remote and are able to extract some IR codes using a logitech harmony or any IR-learner tool, I'd be specifically interested in the one for the open/close button! Probably a long shot, but if anyone could help me out I'd be very grateful :D

If still relevant, see below the configuration file created by winlirc for Clarion CZ500 remote. Technical information about file format can be found here: winlirc.sourceforge.net/technicaldetails.html
# brand: Clarion
# model: CZ500
# supported devices: CZ500, CZ501, CZ302
header 9002 4514
one 558 532
zero 558 1664
I tried to use this info to control my Clarion with arduino via SWC but with no success :(
I know that such technique works for Alpines and Kenwoods. Anyone reversed engineered the SWC protocol for Clarion units?
