That big hump right below the back window. how do I get around this? I know there's some rangers here. A false floor of mdf to bolt box to or what?

build a false floor. really simple to do.

With the false floor, do you just screw it straight into the truck floor?

With the false floor, do you just screw it straight into the truck floor?
no... you just build it and set it in. very very simple to do.

OP just use a L-Bracket if your worried about it moving around
